The Kestrel Direct Thread Tripod adaptor works by screwing directly into the 1/4″-20 socket not he front of the binocular’s hinge. It can be used with most binoculars, but is intended for open frame or units with a very short distance between the socket and the front of lens. If you’re using our Short Frame Monopod, this is the adaptor for you!
