The Kestrel® Monopod is ~44 inches tall when fully assembled. The Hight of the binocular is adjustable between 28-42 inches above whatever the Kestrel® Monopod is resting on. This system is designed to be used in a sitting position.

Can the Kestrel® Monopod be used as a hiking stick?

No, the Kestrel® Monopod is not designed to be used as a hiking pole.

The Kestrel® Monopod is compatible with almost any binocular that has a 1⁄4”-20 standard socket on the front of the hinge (usually under a cosmetic protective cover).
