Ok… so this is a bit of a departure for us, but our lead engineer also has a background in acoustics and has been working on this in his spare time for several years.

The goal was to start from scratch on a ground up design optimized for backcountry elk chasers.  We began by studying the sounds an elk makes, then designed an instrument that efficiently projects these sounds as efficiently as possible.

Once we had a working design, we folded it twice on itself to get a compact design that is smaller than a water bottle and yet will broadcast that high elk whistle with more power than a traditional tube.
