The Kestrel glassing system works wonderfully, just as advertised. It is very light weight and easy to setup. The QR code attached to new systems is awesome and answered all my questions about setup, etc. Kestrel made glassing for long periods of time on a multiday trip painless. I found the perfect little hill to sit on with the Kestrel base downhill about 8″ in front of me. I highly recommend and have already suggested it to my buddies who complained of sore and tired arms from glassing.

With Spring bear on the mind, I had to give this thing a try. I have not gone out yet, but it will be put to the test very soon. 5 star worthy just on design and ease of use. One of those designs you see and think, “man, why didn’t I think of that?!” I had a few questions before committing to buying and they tackled them quickly. Thanks again!!!

The Kestrel has become one of the most useful tools in my western hunting arsenal. Spring turkey hunting, I use it from my truck while I glass fields and then rest my shotgun on it in the blind. Mule deer and elk, it’s only a few more ounces in my pack instead of a heavy tri-pod. In a pinch, it makes an excellent rattle snake smacker. Bored at camp in the back-country, the adjustment string makes a decent guitar. I’ve had mine for two years and had zero issues despite my several unintentional attempts to destroy it.

Such an amazing option for glassing. Lightweight, versatile, and you can move it so you don’t get the stiff neck from glassing on a tripod. This is definitely going to be part of my pack when heading out for hunts or scouting adventures. You should definitely add this to your pack as well and your glassing system for binos!
