At just 1.8 oz, our rest is made of impact resistant fiberglass reinforced polymers. Exactly what I was looking for! I had been looking for this style rear rest to replace my old rear bag that my young bird dog chewed up. The rest is rock solid, easily deployed, lightweight, compact, far more affordable, and better looking, and more affordable, in comparison to the other rear rest options I have found. Will slide into the sleeve of my binocular harness. Simple!
